The decision to establish a youth club in Replot was made at the annual meeting of the sobriety association on January 6, 1913. It was a group of enthusiastic young men and women who were involved in founding the association and whom in April of the same year began discussing their own association building. Less than a year later, on January 10, 1914, the new association held its annual meeting under its own roof, at the cottage of John E. Eriksson in Svennos. The cottage itself was considered to function as a clubhouse for some time, but a larger ballroom was planned. Even before the purchase, they started collecting construction timber and other necessary things. Wikman, the master builder of the Lantbrukssällskapet, made the drawings for the extension of the ballroom. The clubhouse was inaugurated with great celebration on October 31, 1915.
Overhauls and extensions have been made over the years and countless hours have been put in. In April 1919, it was decided e.g. that all young people should bring a moss bag for isolation, and two people were appointed to make sure this happened. A protocol from May 1920 state sthat it was decided to "bring 12 electric lamps into the club house, for when electric lighting will enter the village." The open veranda on the south side was built in 1927 and in 1938 a new birch floor was added to the ballroom. The house was extended four meters west in 1958. The association received central heating in 1975 and water was taken in in the 1980s. In the late 1980s, a more thorough renovation of the club's house was necessary. The logs were reassembled and sawn and planed. A new decking was made for the facades and the tower was assembled. The inside also received a facelift just in time for the 75th anniversary celebration.
The theater industry has been part of the youth association since the beginning. As early as 1918, the play "Skärgårdens bondebröllop" was performed. It was also played in Vaasa City Hall. Countless sketches and plays have been performed over the years, and in 1974 the first revue premiered. After "Gröna Vågen", a revue has been set up every year, with a few exceptions. With the revue "Röötren" in 1988, more than 1,000 visitors broke the audience record, and in the same year the revue was also shown in Tjöck.
In the 70s, Bingo also experienced its heyday in Replot and was played a lot in the clubhouse for some time. Auctions were also held to raise money for the association.
Sim och Rodd is a tradition that has long been part of the summer in Replot. Fiskargillet and Lantmannagillet in Replot had already organized rowing and motorboat races before the Second World War. After the war, the competitions continued in cooperation with Lantmannagillet and the youth association. In August 1946, a swimming house was inaugurated on the shores of Replot. The annual meeting of the youth association decided to build a swimming cottage on the beach the same year and now organizing swimming competitions was much easier than before. The swimming house was demolished in the summer of 1979. The Sim och Rodd program has changed over the years. For example, in addition to a rowing competition and a swimming competition, you can try trial throwing (or boot throwing), arrow throwing, air rifle shooting, etc. Fish soup, previously enjoyed at school, is offered today at the beach shed.
